Efficient and Durable a New Concrete Floor for Duhn Farms

Rocky View Concrete Services recently had the pleasure of completing a major project at Duhn Farms in Delacor, AB. The centerpiece of this job was a 42x84 machine shop outfitted with a high-performance in-floor heating system and a centrally located sump pump. This combination ensures optimal efficiency and ease of maintenance for daily operations.

In-floor heating is a game-changer for workshops, offering consistent warmth during Alberta’s frigid winters while keeping energy costs in check. Paired with the central sump pump, this floor is designed for durability and practicality, making it ideal for a busy farm setting.

To complete the exterior, we installed a 6-foot broom-finished concrete apron, adding both functionality and a polished look. This feature provides a non-slip surface while enhancing the overall accessibility of the shop. To further protect the overhead doors, sturdy steel bollards were strategically placed, ensuring long-lasting defense against accidental damage.
